  • These are reused iPhones sold by SoftBank, and are not new items.
  • Manufacturer’s warranty is not available. Except where eligible for the Free Warranty, repairs in case of damage will incur a charge.
  • When purchasing this product, you cannot enroll in “Breakdown Relief Pack Plus” or “AppleCare+ for iPhone.”

Free Warranty

  • For a period of 30 days from the day of purchase (including the day of purchase), we will replace the device in the event of a malfunction.
  • Replacement requires the actual handset and proof of purchase.
  • If the serial number (IMEI) at the time of purchase and the serial number of the handset sent to us do not match, or the serial number of the handset sent cannot be identified, it will not be eligible for the Free Warranty.
  • If a malfunction is confirmed, we will replace it with a handset of identical model, capacity, and color (replacement will be with another handset handled by SoftBank as a certified used product, not with a new item).
    *Note that if this is difficult due to inventory shortages, etc., we will replace it with another model that we specify, or we will refund your money after the device is returned to us.
  • We cannot guarantee app usage fees or charges, even if they are due to malfunctions. Additionally, loss of data within the handset is also not eligible for warranty, so please back up your data regularly.
  • With regard to Free Warranty support, replacement is offered via postal mail only (support is not available at SoftBank shops). Please use the methods we specify to return handsets for which a malfunction has been identified.
  • The Free Warranty does not apply in the following cases.
    • Battery wear (In some cases displays may indicate that the battery has degraded, but our standard inspections have determined that the batter has at least 80% of capacity remaining.)
    • Defects attributable to customer intent or negligence (external damage due dropping, cases where water damage has been deemed to have occurred, etc.)
    • Damage due to customer modifications or processing (including when performed on the product body or on the software)
    • Damage attributable to natural disasters after purchase
    • Where the serial number (IMEI) cannot be confirmed (including cases of lost or theft.)
    • Where due to scratches or dirt on the exterior
      *Before purchase, please check the image and description of the product exterior on the SoftBank-certified used product website.
    • Symptoms due to aging (burning-in of LCD screens, missing pixels, etc.)
    • Where symptoms reported cannot be reproduced
    • Problem symptoms due to handset performance or OS version (screen freezing or application malfunctions)
    • Where not attributable to performance problems, caused by fee plans or contract content

Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will repair devices for a fee.

  • No network usage restrictions due to installment payments not paid by previous users will be imposed on handsets offered as SoftBank certified used products.
  • Handsets offered as SoftBank certified used products may not be equipped with the latest OS version in some cases. Please upgrade to the latest OS version yourself. Additionally, preset applications may have been deleted.
  • Handsets offered as SoftBank certified used products are eligible for Apple Authorized Support. However, since we do not dissemble products for inspection, there may be cases where Apple Authorized Support cannot be provided because the previous owner has used non-genuine parts. We are not able to accept returns or provide replacements in such cases. Your understanding is appreciated.
  • If you forget an Apple Account password that you have set yourself, you may not be able to make inquiries with Apple Support, and you may not be able to deactivate the activation lock.

Simple3

●Contract month: If the contract is made in the middle of the month, the basic fee will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
●Cancellation month: Even if you cancel in the middle of the month, you will be charged the full basic fee (it will not be prorated).
●Domestic calls cost 22 yen per 30 seconds.
●With Simple3 L, you can make domestic calls of up to 10 minutes per call to mobile phones and landlines (including IP phones) at no additional charge.
If we determine that a call is a long-distance call, we may disconnect the call.
When you sign up for Simple3 L, you can use Voicemail Plus, Fixed-rate Stop Service, Call Waiting, and Group Calls at no additional charge.
A separate application is required to use each service.
If you change your plan to Simple3 S /M while using a service, the monthly fee for that service will be charged from the following month. If you do not wish to use the service, you will need to cancel it separately.
*Some calls are not covered, such as international roaming, international calls (calls to overseas countries), calls to satellite phones, calls to phone numbers beginning with 0570 etc. that other companies charge, and directory assistance (104). Calls to the satellite phone service (Wide Star) provided by NTT Docomo will cost 177.1 yen per 30 seconds.
●Domestic SMS costs 3.3 to 33 yen per message depending on the number of characters sent. Please refer to our terms and conditions for details.
*A contract administration fee will be charged (in-store: 4,950 yen, online: 3,850 yen).Telephone universal service fee, telephone relay service fee, and broadband universal service fee will be charged separately.
●If you wish to use the answering machine service, you will need to subscribe to Answering Machine Plus separately.
●If the amount of data used in a month exceeds the combined total of the specified capacity (5GB/30GB/35GB) and the data capacity added with the Data Extra Data Option (2GB/5GB/5GB for Extra Data Option subscribers only), your data communication speed will be slowed down until the end of that month (up to 300kbps for Simple3 S and 1Mbps for Simple3 M /L when sending and receiving). Furthermore, if you have used up half of the specified capacity (2.5GB/15GB/17.5GB), your data communication speed will be slowed down until the end of that month (up to 128kbps for sending and receiving).

●If we determine that a call is an unauthorized long-term call, we may disconnect the call.
●If you change your plan to an ineligible Price Plan, this option will be automatically canceled.
●If we determine that you have made any of the following calls, we will terminate this service or suspend use of the calls in question on a date specified by us.
- Connecting the phone to any device or facility without our prior permission.
- Using the service for the purpose of directly earning income from communications, such as by using the communication intermediary or forwarding function or connecting to services provided by other companies.
- Calls made automatically using software, computer programming, etc. (excluding those provided by us or telecommunications carriers authorized by us).
- Communications used for purposes other than phone calls.
●With Simple3 L you can make domestic calls of up to 10 minutes without applying for Flat Rate + with anyone, at no additional charge.
・By subscribing to this option, you can use Voicemail Plus, Call Waiting, Group Calls, and Fixed Rate Stop Service from the current month at no additional charge. To use these services, you must apply for each service yourself.
・Even if you cancel this option, any services you have subscribed to separately, such as Voice Mail Plus, will not be canceled, and you will be charged the monthly fees for each service from the following month.
・If you subscribe to Simple3 S /M, the Flat Rate with Anyone/Super Flat Rate with Anyone (S) plans for Simple2 S /M/L and earlier will be canceled.

Data carry over

Only the default data volume and data volume increased by Extra Data Option can be carried over. Additional data volume purchased when applying to return to the standard speed cannot be carried over. Any amount of data less than 100MB carried over will be rounded down.
●Data volume will be consumed in the following order: carried-over data > specified capacity (including data increase through Extra Data Option) > additional purchased data volume.
●For shared plans, data can be carried over during the period when data capacity is shared with the main line (while sharing is in effect). However, any unused data capacity from the month before sharing with the main line begins or the final month when sharing ends will not be carried over to the next month.

Y!mobile Parent-Child Discount

● During the application period, if the user is between 5 and 18 years old at the time of application and signs up for Simple 3 M/L through a new subscription, switching from another company (MNP), transferring a number from SoftBank or LINEMO, changing the contract, or changing plans, a 1,100 yen per month discount will apply to the basic usage fee for 13 months, starting from the first month in which all eligibility requirements are met. ● When applying to change your plan through My Y!mobile, you must first complete the application process for the Y!mobile Parent-Child Discount through My Y!mobile first, and then apply to change your plan after receiving the SMS confirming the completion of the procedure.
