With the launch of Simple3 on September 25, 2025, we will be expanding the eligible Price Plan from September 25, 2025.

Overview

If you sign up for multiple lines used by family members or others under a designated Price Plan, the monthly basic charges for each line from the second line onwards will be550円or1,100円1,188円(Discount applies to up to 9 lines)
This also applies if one person subscribes to multiple lines.

  • These are eligible Price Plan that are currently available for application. (Mobile Basic Plan SS and Data Basic Plan S are not eligible.)
    For details, such as applicable Price Plan that are no longer accepting applications, please refer to the terms and conditions of offer.

What does "family" mean in Family Discount service?

It can be confirmed that you are family (blood or marriage) or live at the same address.
Family verification documents are required for the procedure.

  • Blood and marriage
    • Family members living together
    • Families living apart
      There are no requirements regarding the degree of kinship.
  • Same address
    • Contract holders who can be confirmed as having the same address (different surnames are acceptable)

Items needed when applying

  • 1. Family identification documents

Family verification documents are documents that prove your relationship with the contract holder.
This includes documents that can verify the same surname or address, or a single document that can prove your relationship with the contract holder.

Please bring one of the following:

  • Identity verification documents for each person that can verify the same surname or address
  • Evidence of your relationship with the contract holder
    (Documents such as a Certificate of Resident Registration Details, Certificate of Eligibility, Resident Card, or Certified (Extract) Family Register, which list the names of both the contract holder and the agent. However, a Certificate of Resident Registration Details, Resident Card, or Certified (Extract) Family Register must be issued within the last three months.)
  • Documents proving same-sex partnership
  • 2. Consent from Family Discount main line subscriber (consenter)

Items to bring when visiting our store

The documents you need to prepare are:"Who will be coming to the store?"It depends on the system.

The first line is the primary line, and subsequent lines are secondary lines.

Please check which of the following three patterns applies to your "packing list".

Visiting with your whole family will make the process the smoothest.

    *If you cannot confirm that you share the same last name or address using only your "identity verification documents," please also provide "2. family verification documents."
  • □ Family verification documents
    Documents are required to confirm that you are family (blood relatives or married) or live at the same address.

First line(Main line)If you are visiting our store

Since I will be handling the procedures on behalf of the secondary line holder, a "power of attorney" is required.

    Documents confirming that the secondary line will be used by the original subscriber and their family members (blood relatives or spouses), or that they share the same address.

You will definitely need documentation proving the "consent" of the primary line holder.

    Documents confirming that the primary line subscriber and their family (blood relatives or spouses) or share the same address.

About application

Please apply through My Y!mobile *1, Y!mobile shops and dealers nationwide, or the online store *2.

Shops and Dealers

  • *1 If you apply through My Y!mobile, you cannot apply with devices that cannot receive SMS (Pocket WiFi®, tablets).
  • *2 Applications can only be made via the online store if the new line is to be used as a secondary line.

Notes

  • The first line (main line) and the second and subsequent lines (secondary lines) will be specified by the customer when applying for the contract. Up to nine secondary lines, excluding the main line, can be specified.
  • This offer does not apply to corporate customers.
  • In the following cases, service under our designated plan will be terminated, and monthly basic usage fees, telephone universal service fees, and telephone relay service fees for the second and subsequent lines (secondary lines) will be charged from the following Price Plan month.
    (If you change Price Plan for your secondary line, the monthly basic usage fee will be charged from the date of the change.)
    • 【1】If the Y!mobile communication service contract for the first line (main line) is canceled.
    • 【2】If the first line (main line) or the second or subsequent lines (sub-lines) is changed to Price Plan other than the plan specified by our company.
  • There are some services for which discounts cannot be applied in conjunction with other services, such as Home Bundle Discount Hikari Set (A) and Home Bundle Discount Hikari Set (A) application benefits.
