These international guidelines were established by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which is in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), and the permissible limits include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all users, regardless of age or health condition.
National technical standards and international guidelines define the permissible value for radio wave protection as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), which represents the average amount of radio wave energy absorbed by the human body. The permissible SAR value for mobile phones is 2.0W/kg.
The maximum SAR value for the moto g66y 5G when measured at the side of the head is 1.87 W/kg, and when worn on the body *2 is 1.88 W/kg *3. While there may be slight differences in SAR between individual products, all meet the allowable limits. Mobile phones are designed to transmit the minimum power necessary for communication with mobile phone base stations, so the SAR value is usually lower when actually making a call.
