This mobile phone is designed to comply with the technical standards (※1) set by the government regarding the absorption of radio waves by the human body, as well as the permissible limits for radio wave protection recommended by equivalent international guidelines. These international guidelines are established by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which works in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), and their permissible limits include a sufficient safety margin regardless of the user's age or health condition.
National technical standards and international guidelines define permissible limits for radio wave protection using the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), which represents the average amount of radio wave energy absorbed by the human body. The permissible SAR value for mobile phones is 2.0 W/kg. The maximum SAR value for this mobile phone at the side of the head is 1.789 W/kg (*2), and the maximum SAR value when worn on the body is 1.764 W/kg (*2).
